GlamourDollEyes Eyeshadow Review

I LOVE GLAMOUR DOLL EYESHADOWS!

I got my 1st order from GlamorDollEyes & I am so happy with these eyeshadows. I was a little hesitant to order them at first, but with the prices & the fact that they have sample sizes, I couldn't resist. I am so happy I decided to order them.
Haven't heard of GlamourDollEyes before? Well, let me give you a run down on the company. They started in 2008 & offer vegan eyeshadows that can be used for eyeshadows & lip shades! All of the eyeshadows are made of earth minerals; Magnesium Stearate, Zinc Oxide, Methicone Treated Titanium Dioxide & Kaolin Clay. They are all FDA approved too!
They offer so many beautiful colors (Glitter, shimmer & matte) & they are very pigmented! I love that you can use most of them for lip shades as well (Just add the eyeshadow to your favorite lipgloss). Some colors can't be used as lip shades & the labeling will tell you if its "Lip Safe". I also like that you can purchase two different sample sizes, a small size (its in a little baggy), or a regular sample thats in a container. The price difference is only a dollar or so.
The only thing  I didn't like was that the white eyeshadow I bought was in a sample baggy & made me feel like I was a drug dealer lol ;) WHICH I AM NOT, i'm a beauty dealer! hehe

Lots of love,

I will be posting a video tutorial soon:)

A MAC Essential!

Hello there beauties!
Its a cool, rainy day in Hawaii. On days like this I love to lay around the house and watch a movie or read a good book & work on my bloggie :)
So, most of you have already heard, or even used this product before BUT for you ladies that have never tried it before I present to you...

M.A.C Fluidline Eye-liner Gel!!!
I absolutely love this eyeliner every lady should have this in their makeup kit! It goes on super smooth & it has a nice finish to it. It lasts forever, through rain & shine. It doesn't smear & smudge. It comes of easily with facials soap or eye makeup remover. It also comes in so many beautiful colors! It cost $15 & is so worth the price, a little goes a long way.
*If you use it a lot it is best stored upside down so it won't dry.

I was introduced this product while I was in school & have been using it ever since (So for about 3 years now). I love it. I don't use it much in my tutorials because of the price but now, since I received my MAC Pro Card, I will be using it much more.
Oh, and before I close out this post... I ordered some products from Sephora, Glamour Doll Eyes & Model 21 eyelashes! Woohoo!!! I will be posting a video haul soon! Keep your eyes out for that! :)

To all my old & new followers, THANK YOU!
Lots of love,

UPDATE!
Since a few of you have asked me about how I got my Pro MAC Card I'm going to link a older post where I put together a list of companies that offer Professional discounts. (You can receive up to %50 off of cosmetics!)

MAC Lust.

Nope.

Do you like drugstore makeup?
Of course. You can always find good products, like my Revlon Photo Ready Foundation.

I haven't ever been to one :(

Wanna take me ? hehe

Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
Been there, done that :)

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
No.

Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Gray looking foundation & eyebrows that look like they used a permanent marker to draw just a single line.

Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
I usually use neutral colors BUT for certain occasions & depending on my mood i'll use colorful colors.

Which celebrity always has great make up?
Kim Kardashian & Megan Fox.

If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
Brow pencil.

Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yup. I do that a lot :)

Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
Um, I guess. I don't think I look horrible. lol

In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
Wow. Hmm.... Thats hard. MAC, Makeup Forever, UD? I like a lot of products from different lines.

What do you think of Makeup??
I absolutely love it!

Want to POWER CLEANSE?!

Hi beauties!
I was washing my face this morning & I thought you all should know this awesome little trick I picked up in Esthetics school.
This DAILY routine will  cleanse, minimize pores, get rid of black/white heads, brighten your skin & leave your face feeling SUPER soft!
I call this the POWER CLEANSE!

All you need is your daily cleanser & exfoliant. After you cleanse your face your going to do a 2nd cleanse, which is the power cleanse. You mix a dime size amount of exfoliant & a dime size amount of cleanser in your hand, apply it to your face & scrub, scrub, scrub. Then rinse. THATS IT! Simple right? :)

I use Pharmagel Hydra Cleanse & their Enzyme Excel Exfoliator. I love it & I've recommended these products to quite a few of my clients & they ALL have given me awesome feedback. Haute Look, this AWESOME website that sells name brand products for up to %75 off, is having a sale on Pharmagel products this Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Click the link below to take advantage of this awesome sale & the other sales they have going on.

Foundation Routine & E.L.F Brightening Eye Color

Good morning ladies!
...It's 9:49a in beautiful Hawaii.

I see a lot of request on YouTube, blogs, twitter for foundation routines. Usually I prep my skin 1st before recording a tutorial but this video is SPECIAL... I recorded prepping my skin! hehe. I also received a free gift from E.L.F in my last delivery & it was the Brightening Eye Color so I decided to do a tutorial & add a little review of it here on my blog.
Enjoy!

Watch this video below or at: YouTube!

Products used:
Revlon Photo Ready liquid foundation
MAC Prep+Prime concealer
MAC Studio Fix pressed powder
MAC eyebrow pencil "Spiked"
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Brightening Eye Color ELF palette
ELF Liquid liner (black)
Great Lash mascara
Falsies Mascara
Sephora White Nano eye liner

E.L.F Brightening Eye Color Review:
I like this palette. It's very neutral & has a little shimmer to it. It is best to use with a eyeshadow primer, like most E.L.F eyeshadows. For the price it is awesome, Its only about $2! There's a lot of fall out with the eyeshadow but it is very easy to brush it off, it doesn't stick & smudge like a lot of other brands. Over all, I would probably buy a couple more combinations since the price is so good. I don't think i'd use it in my pro makeup kit though.

Thank you for reading!
Lots of love,
Hannah

My At-The-Moment FAVORITES!

Before I get to my "At-The-Moment Favorites" (and where to get them) I am going to give a little background info on yours truly... ME! :)
I grew up in Hawaii, moved to Connecticut (Got married!) and now I'm in transit to GUAM! My husband is a submariner in the U.S Navy & he is deployed right now. I adore that man :) !!! I'm staying in Hawaii with family for a few months before setting up in Guam. Fun, fun, fun! Both of my parents are hairdressers & work in Hawaii. As a little girl I remember hanging out at the salons and watching everyone coloring, cutting, styling, applying makeup... It was awesome! I started coloring/perming my hair in the 6th grade! After high school I decided I wanted to take the Esthetics course & get into the beauty industry as well.
Now, getting to the real reason your reading this blog entry....
I was going through the things I brought to Hawaii & the things i've purchased while here & decided a favorites blog would be super fun.

At-The-Moment Favorite #1:
Surprise Flowers!
This morning I woke up, went downstairs & found this pretty bouquet of flowers with a sweet little note. My husband is on the other side of the world & he still makes me smile! This is definitely a FAVORITE!
Delivered from:
Sweet Leilani Florist (Hawaii delivery only)
Ph# (808) 832-0500
My hubby <3

At-The-Moment Favorite # 2
GHD Styling iron
This is my FANTASTICAL GHD Styling Iron! I love this thing to DEATH! It has a microchip that reads the texture of your hair & automatically sets itself to the right temperature to do the least damage to your hair. It leaves my hair feeling silky & smooth, even if I don't use any product! It has floating plates to you can make nice smooth curls. The plates heating element is under the whole plate so the heat is evenly distributed. I love this iron!!! It retails for about $300 BUT if you're a licensed Cosmetologist you can get it at a wholesale price at CosmoProf

You can find the GHD styling iron retailed at:

At-The-Moment Favorite #3
Instant Polaroid Camera
This is my instant Polaroid camera. Its so fun to play with. I love the look of instant pictures. The camera is very basic, no LCD screen or anything... you have to look through the sight (Like a old school camera hehe). It does have 4 settings: Indoor, Outdoor, Cloudy & Sunny. Its fun to make little collages with the pictures. I like to draw on the borders.
I purchased the camera from HSN for $90 & it came with a pack of film. You can purchase this camera in red, black, white or blue at:

At-The-Moment Favorite #4

My jewelry! I cannot leave the house without earrings on, i'd feel naked hehe.
My favorite pair of earrings right now are my feather earrings (I have them in black, grey & red) & my thick leopard print hoops
I love my Fossil watch! It was a birthday gift from my husband. It is ceramic so it wont get scratched or stained (Like all my other white $10 watches hehe). I also love my anchor necklaces. The smaller anchor is from my mom, a moving out gift :)

I bought most of my earrings & my large anchor necklace from:
My Fossil watched was purchased from:
The small anchor necklace was purchased from:

At-The-Moment Favorite #5
My personalized Wedding Book! I personalized it myself. I chose the pictures I wanted to use, the captions & quotes, colors, arrangement...EVERYTHING :) Its a hardcover book & the cover is personalized as well. All my wedding memories in one book. Its going o be so fun showing our children this book... when we decide to have one! :)
It was only $25.99 from Snapfish.com

At-The-Moment Favorite #6
Ofcourse I had to put my makeup as one of my favorites. I love playing with makeup... thinking of new looks, trying to replicate photos, helping others learn how to use makeup, trying new products. This is a picture of the only makeup I could fit in my suitcase to bring to Hawaii. Haha! I have a case for it all but it took too much room so I'm using a Spa Ritual suitcase & organizing all my makeup in makeup bags.
I purchase my makeup from... EVERYWHERE! lol
Macy's, Sephora, Drugstores, MAC, Merle Norman, Bhcosmetics.com, Coastalscents.com, Hot topic... etc.

At-The-Moment Favorite #7
Just purchased both of these pairs this month. The heels are Guess & I got them for only $30 at Ross ( A department store in Hawaii ). It's kind of like a TJ Maxx or Khols. They are super comfy & I love the height of the heel. Plus, its a nude color which matches is practically ANYTHING!
The flats are from Jeans Warehouse for only $11.99. I love them. Super cute & a little blingy.

So these are my At-The-Moment Favorites!!!
Hope you all enjoyed it!

Have a colorful day<3

2-in-1 Blog! Drugstore Foundation Review & A Sultry Night Look Video Tutorial

Hi there, again!
This is a special 2-in-1 blog. I wanted to do a review on a affordable drug store liquid foundation & decided (while doing my foundation) that I wanted to do a tutorial of a sultry night look.

Liquid Foundation Haul!

I chose Revlon Photo Ready in 006 Medium Beige. If I had enough thumbs, i'd give it a 4 thumbs up!
I purchased this foundation at Target. You can get it at most drugstores.
I absolutely love this foundation! It has a complete medium/heavy coverage. Its comparable to MACs Pro Longwear liquid foundation. Revlon's actually is a little better, it has a Spf 20 compared to the Spf 10 that MAC has. It covered up any blemishes I had, even most of the dark circles I had going on under my eyes! It goes on smoothly & made my skin feel silky. Its not too shiny, perfect for picture taking! MACs Pro Longwear foundation is $29.50 when Revlon's Photo Ready is ONLY $11.99.

Before & After photo:

Now, for the makeup tutorial...
I chose to do a Sultry Night Look. I love the bold eye & naked lip :)

In this tutorial I used:
Face:
Revlon Photo Ready in 006 Medium Beige -all over foundation
NYC Smooth Skin liquid foundation in Spiced Beige -contour
MAC Prep+Prime -priming eyelids & concealer
Trucco Satin Creme Duo Blush in Bikini Bronze -Contour & highlight
ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing powder -Set creme contouring & highlighting
MAC Studio Fix Pressed Powder in NC-42 -All over setting powder
Eyes:
Urban Decay loose pigment in Yeyo
Urban Decay eyeshadow in Zero & Scratch
Maybelline Cool Effect Pencil in Cold as Ice
MAC eyebrow pencil in Spiked
Bead Head eyeliner in Black Smudgie
Ardell Claudia false eyelash
Lip:
ELF Conditioning Lip Balm

So, there it is! Hope you all liked it! Make sure to follow me & any questions or suggestions please comment below.

Have a colorful day,

Eyelash Extensions

To all the women with short, thin, sparce eyelashes!
I put together some images of my eyelash extension clients. I also added some informational captions.
Eyelash extensions last from 2-4 weeks. They will fall out once your natural lash falls out though. The Esthetician will use a special glue to attach a individual false lash to your natural lashes. You can ask for different looks as well; if you want them thicker, have more of the fawn look, more dramatic. The care is fairly simple as well, you need to be a little careful with them, no pulling or tugging on them, no oil based products on your lashes (it can loosen the adhesive), when your washing your face make sure to wash the lashes (DO NOT AVIOD THEM) to get all the germs collected on them off.
If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me: bookhannahlebron@gmail.com
OR leave me a comment.
Have a beautiful day :)
